Bridget Achieng Is Happy Over Edgar’s Misfortune 


Socialite Bridget Achieng took to social media stating that Edgar Obare deserves the current misfortunes that have befallen him. While she did sympathize with the blogger over the disappearance of his brother, Achieng stated that God had heard the prayers of everyone who fell victim to Edgar’s exposé. 


Bridget and Edgar have not been on good terms ever since Edgar exposed Bridget’s true source of income. In the exposé which happened on his famous instagram account, Edgar received confirmation that Bridget and other socialites had turned to prostitution to keep up their appearances. 


In the harsh post Bridget called out Edgar stating that, 


“What you put on your post is true, even though not many will agree, you cannot be tarnishing people’s image/brand and expect everyone to stand by you. Great piece, this nigga has brainwashed alot of kenyans waaah , enyewe udaku haitaki uvivu, you put your whole life and family life at risk but for what?? “

Edgar exposed text messages between Bridget’s “manager” and a disappointed client. The saga went further after a viral video surfaced of Bridget Achieng naked in a room with other women. 


Bridget’s bitter words to Edgra come days after Edgar revealed that his brother had been kidnapped and tortured. The kidnappers demanded to know Edgar’s whereabouts since Edgar had gone into hiding after exposing the notorious “wash wash” cartel in Nairobi. 


Edgar exposed numerous individuals involved in the illegal trade including some celebrities. Since then the blogger has experienced harassment from the cartels and even had his instagram account deactivated which prompted him to go into hiding. The wash wash cartel is known to be dangerous and has dealt death to some of its members on suspicion of trying to swindle them. 


Bloggers in Kenya have had threats sent to them forcing them to either double down or to retreat. Prolific blogger Bogonko Bosire is one of the few bloggers who went above and beyond exposing the truth and the rot in government. Reports on Bosire’s whereabouts remain inconclusive since police are yet to receive clues on his disappearance. Some fear that Bosire might have been killed by the same entities that he exposed, a fate which Edgar Obare is keen to avoid. 


Despite Bridget’s elation over Edgar’s misfortune, Edgar’s social media announcement that his brother was missing drew widespread support from his fans. 


Socialite Shorn Arw took the high road and sent a message on her Instagram Account consoling Edgar and his family over his brother’s disappearance even though Edgar had also aired some of her dirty linen on his blog. 


“P.S.A I MIGHT get a lot of hate for this but am saying it anyway.


My heart goes out to Edgar Obare, l know we might not be the best of friends (because there are days when he serves my own tea mercilessly but we move regardless )but what he and his family are being put through is not right at all, because today is him tomorrow is you or a friend anyways may God protect him and his family”

Mary Nkatha now says that she was held at gunpoint by three men and forced to show her boobs to former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and give false information.
