Emily chepkemoi 23-year-old student was stubbed on the neck and head two times body found lifeless

 


Police in homabay have opened a probe into the gruesome murder of a student whose decomposing body was found in her rental house in oriang estate, Homabay.


Emily chepkemoi the beautiful 23-year-old student at Kenya medical training college was found lifeless on Sunday afternoon by concerned neighbors who got suspicious over a foul smell from the house.


The neighbors said they last saw chepkemoi on Friday,her phone was also not going through since then,I have never seen her until her body was found inside the house," Said malvin otieno..


Some of the deceased's schoolmates said there was a loud music in her room on the night she is suspected to be murdered.


Her body was covered on the bed,where she is believed to have been raped and stabbed to death.


Area assistant chief Dancun oketch said chepkemoi's body had several stab wounds on the head ,neck and back.


The boyfriend who is believed to have gone into hiding is being pursued by the police,"Oketch said, adding that the murder was a result of a suspected love triangle.


Homabay Directorate of criminal investigation officer (DCIO) Monica berege added we are handling the matter to ensure appropriate measures are taken against those who committed the heinous act."


Chepkemoi was a first-year student pursuing a diploma in clinical medicine in Kenya medical training college (KMTC) 


Her close friends eulogised her as a humble lady with a big heart.

Mary Nkatha now says that she was held at gunpoint by three men and forced to show her boobs to former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and give false information. Speaking in an interview on of the local radio stations, Nkatha said the three men are allied to Sonko and they were holding guns.
